The only thing of value to the car is the steering wheel. If and when you sell the car and they are part of the package, you are giving them away for free. No one cares about, nor wants, all of those parts except for the steering wheel.

You might be able to sell the cat. I know I had to buy one and they are expensive. So if it doesn't have a ton of miles on it, might get someone down the road for awhile. Here in CA it's not worth getting a used cat. |

Are we talking 964? I could actually use the A/C.
I've got a 964 deck lid for my 84' that I'd like to use but I'd lose the worthless AC I already have. To use the deck lid and retain AC 964 belly pan condensers are my answer. I'd pay shipping plus a couple bucks.

I wouldn't use gold. Yellow zinc is fine.

I’m sure Shaun could gold plate them too, if that’s your thing.

Won't fit, springplate design is different for G50 cars, and I think they are the same size as SC anyway. For getting a "little more" out of a stock SC and any lightened, sports-purpose car, I like 19/26 (rear from Turbo). For a little more, 22/28 and 29 are perfect, I always run this bar set up, comfortable but tight. Combined with Rebel Racing bushing sets, you get a much more modern, agile ride and feel.

In some states, you MUST have factory exhaust in order to pass inspection. The buyer may need the exhaust and it would be more valuable than the steering wheel.

If I were getting rid of a car, the last thing I would want in my garage are parts for that (gone) car. Also....I have a bunch of 911 parts in my garage and I want them gone. Even though I have a 911. I'd almost rather take them to the dump than fug around with selling, shipping, meeting up with guys. Even giving them away would be a scheduling challenge for me. But I need to do that. See if I can find someone who could use the stuff.
But yeah, I'd agree with the folks suggesting you sell the car as a potentially, or nearly potentially reassemblable car. When I buy a car, I want it all original. No confusion about what brake pads to use, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, belts, hoses.... Cars that have been modified, generally, are a PITA to maintain and repair. Unmolested 911s are pricey. Okay, here's what you do: Put all those stock parts back on (likely improving the selling price), and sell the aftermarket parts if you want.

I’m too lazy to find if you have a build thread... what is the current state of the car?

Understood. Many of these cars have been, ahem....modified. This makes the stock ones so valuable. But the reason these many cars have been modified is because they can be MUCH better cars than stock. I'd guess your car is the automotive equivalent of an exotic dancer. Stunning. Nimble. ....
