Wow, good eye!!! That 63 has quite the story!!! It is a custom deal, shaved door handles, drip rails, trim, air ride, has been in the process of being built for many years. The guy building it never finished anything but it was always 2 weeks from being finished. After he had the garage built at his house my Brother-in-law went and retrieved the car. When I dropped off the wheel covers he showed me all the things wrong with the car and it is quite the mess. It has a 383 stroker with a 5 speed tremec in it though and It is a mess but at least it is home.

Pretty dang lucky the form didn’t blow out. Captain dumb-chit here failed to cross brace the bottom. Needless to say, you can see how it bowed…[emoji849] I find it amazing how you find your error weeks later after it goes into play and not able to do a thing about it. Other than give it your best “oh-chit!!! [emoji1695][emoji1695][emoji1695][emoji1695][emoji1695]” face.

I had to find a better solution since I spend a small fortune on replacement bags and filters. A buddy told me about the DustStopper and I will admit, it sounded gimmicky, like Shamwow gimmicky. I was wrong, very wrong, this thing is the bomb and it actually works!!! I’m using Gen-1 and now HD sells the updated design. It separates the fines and debris before reaching the shop-vac. If you work with wood, grind blocks or any other task requiring you to use the vacuum for dust control, give this a try. No, I have no affiliation with the company, just a humble DIY shmoe.

I’m sold!!! They are a little spendy for what it is, and you still need a 5 gal bucket. My buddy bought this a few years ago, paid $20 and never used it. That’s how I ended up trying it out.

For the last several years, I’ve had a foster dog, so didn’t spray any weed killers in the back yard.

This spring I was dog less, so I sprayed at least three applications and there were so many weeds that my backyard was about 60% dirt afterwards.

We finally have gotten some cooler temps and I also plumbed in a hose bib back there. I’m three days in on my seeding and watering. Always an interesting process as after 6 or 7 days, you start thinking the seed was bad and then in what seems like overnight, you have a green “5 o’clock shadow”!

Damn Shaun, that’s not pretty. I had the shop check mine when they went over the bike but I need to pull mine and make sure it isn’t like that!

The back bathroom sink faucet is dripping. This has fallen on me to fix in the upcoming days.

I put this in many moons ago and can't remember now.
The faucet doesn't have any means of removing just the handle to replace a cartridge. I was thrifty back then.
The shut off valve is stuck open as well. I'm waiting for a time when we can go without water if needed for a time before tackling getting them working. With the heat we're having today I don't want to shut down the water system while I futz with this job.
Did I tell you I hate plumbing jobs?
I don't bend that way any more but don't have a real choice this time.

I’m guessing that you have a compression fitting on that sink valve. You’ll have to cut the ferrule off to remove the nut, but you might be able to just get another valve and reuse the nut and ferrule.

You must be getting a great deal of satisfaction from sano'ing out your new old bike Shaun.

Honestly Scott, I love the fact that the bike is a bit of a beater, I've been using it to go into Boston to see movies and being a tad rough around the edges cosmetically, that, a lock and parking in front of a nice restaurant, I feel confident it will be there when I come back. That said, it gets so many waves and thumbs ups and "nice bikes."

But yes, I am definitely enjoying fixing all the little things and making the bike my very own. OCD can be a lot of fun. :)

Only thing left to do on it is get red mirrors. And maybe clear all the carbon fiber this winter. It is so much fun to ride!

Yeah, the PO was a nice guy but I'm very glad he took the bike to a Ducati Indy for important repairs and belts and such.

good idea and if even a hint of heat on the socket I'd get the Dorman H4/9003 ceramic sockets at any local parts store. Nice piece of mind.

Free salvage food processor. Cleaned up and works fine. I just need to replace the bowl, blade, lid.

these are amazing machines and extremely expensive new, and used, great find! Used them when I was cooking professionally, you will enjoy it!

A problem bear keeps breaking into the kitchen at the camp where my daughter sometimes runs the kitchen. During his last foray, the bear smashed a prep table and destroyed the equipment on it, including the kitchen's Robot Coupe. The camp wrote the RC off as a total loss, replaced it, and gave the "remains" to my daughter who say "I bet my dad can fix this". Well, I think all that happened was the bowl etc were smashed, The base, motor, controls are fine. The bowl etc are not cheap, but much cheaper than the whole machine. I'm going to go hunting on used stuff sites.

I used them on my 2 bathrooms.

Just had mine out last night. Its older, and I've had to bypass the safety pin, the top is cracked yada yada but its amazing. Makes a home food processor look like a toy. Blades etc are expensive but watch fleabay etc for bargains.
As a reference, that base unit sells in excess of $350 used.

I am looking for the continuous feed accessory. That looks very cool.

Last November, I bought a house built in 1896. All of my fix it time revolves around that now. Temps are starting to drop so I’ll probably start painting again.

Yeah, its the only real reason to have one-you could put it together sans blades for $100 with used parts on ebay currently.
