Today's project: crown molding install with accent led rope lighting. Used 52 degree spring angle blocks since the crown is installed 2" from the ceiling. Turned out nice!

Awesome I always wanted to do that maybe someday. Im working on a suzuki lt50 and honda 70 three wheeler. The lt50 is super worn out. Its 2 stroke has a bottom end leak pulls and burns all of its oil out of the gearbox. I got tired of messing with it and bought a new carb. It runs ok now. Also had to put new rear tires on it they were coming apart. Its my buddys and his kids ride it all the time. The honda is one his friend just bought a pair of them mostly restored. He bought the pair for less than 2k and sold the running one in 1 day for 3k. This one was not totally finished so he is having me do the final assembly. I got the chain and pull start cover sorted and put on and the wiring hooked up. It ran fine but the other side cover leaked oil so i had to redo that. Iv got to test run it some more then they will be out of here.

No its a little 50cc i also have a 300 im fixing up got it for 100 bucks at a yard sale. Still didnt get it running yet but the framing was all rusty so i had to patch and weld a bunch of spots and got the the foot pegs fixed up. It needed a starter I just have to clean the carb and tank and hopefully itll run. I reuphulstered the seat too it came out great.

Wholly shirt-balls that looks awesome!!!!
Last three days off from work allowed me to install wiring and breakers for the soon to be delivered hot tub, my gawd copper wire is somewhere between insane and ludicrous price wise.
finally routed a downspout into PVC and into the drain rather than letting it run freely into the sewage pump room. Kinda an out of sight out of mind dealio that has been needed to be done for 20+ years. Yes, I am the king of procrastination!!!! Ah thank you very much.

And finally, re-painted the floor in the work space under the house and then some. Painted the gunnight slope hoping it will help curb the dust and sluff. Used the HD one part epoxy with added paint chips. Initially painted this in 2015 and has held up well to all our foot traffic. Decided to go heavy this time with the chips just for giggles. Our outside cat isn’t too happy being booted out while it dries.
Cheers

Fatso is happy cuz he has access to his food and litter depository.

Funny story. I put a clock up today just outside my garage man door. Has a small roof over it so should be good from weather. I used to have it inside my garage but with the thermometer that sorta defeated the purpose.

Later in the day - after dinner - I go back out to do some stuff. I'm standing there and hear this clicking sound. Start looking around...where is that coming from - and what the heck is it? Suddenly it dawns on me....

Absolutely beautiful work RS, as usual. What is the time invested in a set of wings like that, barring any unforeseen surprises such as rib or crack repairs?

Ok, ok, the GIF was changed due to current world events. I guess Achmed, the dead terrorist puppet from Jeff Dunham is now taboo. Who would’ve thunk it

Not mine but an honorable mention for a good friend she sent this to me this morning. Truly a MacGyver and his ability to find solutions for practically every situation. So the next time you’re looking at a rats next regarding electrical repairs…….

It always could be worse

Guess a repair crew sawed right through a phone line bundle and he is repairing 800 pairs of lines.

^^^ I've seen that happen before. Buried telephone cable with no signs showing it was there.
Makes for a lot of work...two splices for every wire to make them reach.

Had pulsating front brakes. Removed rotors and found hub face corroded. I chipped the scale with a hammer and chisel then used a disc grinder to finish up. I forgot an after pic but the hub face is now smooth. Brake shudder is pretty much gone. Vehicle is a 2017 Tahoe

Thanks

This set had to have all new ribs leading edges and false spars installed (rebuilt) about 80 hours
Alodine and epoxy priming took 12 hours
Had to do some metal shaping on the wing tips as well, 6 hours
The covering lacing portion took another week and a half
The paint took about a week.

Bled the brakes, rotated the tires, and added a little more negative camber on the rear of my 330, in preparation for the track next weekend. Tomorrow, I will shorten the shoulder straps in the 330, then start organizing what I take.

I also need to install left bank of spark plugs in the F150. I did the right bank last weekend.

A neighbor gave me an old bench. I redid the thing and put it down under one of my mesquite trees. It's a nice addition.
