I built this door. This kind of work is not really my forte, but it came out ok. I’ve since added 1x4 casing around the door.

It’s in a flood zone, so most of the wood is treated in this area. Not the best grade wood.

My IA and I overhauled this o200 to factory spec, with new cylinders, pistons and rings... figuring what to do about the mags now. Shooting for a fire up on Wednesday.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1714833554.jpg

The right rear brake on my EZ-GO golf cart was grabbing and locking up the wheel.

I don't know what was wrong with these shoes, but I sanded the hell out of them and now the brakes don't grab.

Are you sure they are opening enough? Even smooth shoes should stop that little thing...

AC compressor belt went out on the Silverado. Arrived today but like an idiot I didn't check the tensioner until I went to install the new belt and of course the tensioner is toast so have one of those coming tomorrow and will try again.

Rookie mistake.

Warming up in these parts so gotta get that work truck AC going again!

^^^ I have a bad case of while I-am-in-there-itis and order multiple parts when replacing something. That and cleaning everything in site.

I hear ya but I hardly ever have to work on my Silverado......the thing is so freaking reliable! :D

I wasn't even sure it was the belt until today - the day the new belt was delivered.

Anyway.....no biggie. Live and learn, right? ;)

=======

I did get the carbs back on my RC15 this morning and am super stoked about that! Can be a bit tricky on a V4 engine!

'Don't grab' can mean two different things...

Havnt done anything on this car the past few years but brought it back in the shop and got a few things going. I mounted the steering wheel and the passenger door. Also made little supports on the back of the rear fenders they were kinda floppy and mounted some headlights. Then I made the front fenders. So Iv got to figure out how to mount them and cover the suspension area without the tire rubbing when turned. Also made part of the tunnel cover. I still need to do a throttle and brake pedal and all the lincage to the rear brakes. They are mechanical with rods no hydraulics. Id like to integrate two hand brakes on the outside of the cowl to act as skidder brakes so that will be a challenge. Also need to do a shifter and a seperate one for reverse. Also finish up the grill and a front bumper and make a windshield. I made one before but it looked too jeepish so im going to make some brooklands style ones I think. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1714953374.JPG

Almost ready for the beach!!! I just have a couple of things to tweak, and I'm going to change the mainsheet and halyard with the teal green rope pictured here. I found it at my local Ace Hardware, and it looks like it matches the teal in the sail pretty closely. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...15aea42ace.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f10cd12944.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...bb12887fc2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a81cbcfa8a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a7d69c8519.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...925171a142.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1eb5bd3f3f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e42b4a9e6b.jpg

That little boat looked like this at the Goodwill store. I set it up when I got it home. The sail still has some light staining in the white part, I am hoping it will brighten up a little more in the sunlight. One thing for sure, the sail is a whole lot cleaner now than when I first got it. Lol. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...575c5a5332.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...63bc6bfb35.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e7bbda16e8.jpg

Mission accomplished on the AC work.

The only thing now is the compressor clutch seems to be cycling on and off more than it should be.

Will check the cabin filter tomorrow and then maybe the refrigerant level.

I already replaced one of the pressure switches and then tested the other one with the paper clip bypass trick.

I am getting cool air into the cabin so making progress, I think.

I'm headlong into a 1949 RCA bakelite table radio they call the All American Five for its five tubes and no transformer. This is a new hobby that I've been pursuing for a little more than 18 months. That's about 14 months of reading and study and a couple months with my hands on a "hot" chassis radio. Needed help to finish my first, a Crosley from '48. Haven't gotten a signal yet on the RCA but I have static. That's halfway there I guess.

The garbage disposal drain backed up today at the rental condo I’m staying in St. Pete’s. No tools except for a pair of pliers I found in a fishing tackle box. Used the pliers to remove locking ring so disposal can be removed. Found blockage at drain at common tee-y fitting. Took drain apart cleared blockage and re-assembled everything. All fixed water now draining.
Rental is from a co-worker that gave us a deal on the rental. That’s the only reason why I fixed it.
Sorry, no pics.
