I'm not against that.
To many people on this planet anyway... a RiF of 50% sounds about right to me.
I don't mind more then 50%, i really don't..

Lasers are the work of the devil. They're all smoke and mirrors.

The girlfriend of a guy who works for me on occasion turned up pregnant with twins, to add to the three she already has. He has two kids by another woman. All 10 of them are on public assistance of one sort or another. MrsWD thinks anyone on public assistance should be required to take some sort of temporary anti-fertility drug until they can support a family. I agree.

Relevant to the OP:
NPR ran a story yesterday about a boy who spent 57 excruciatingly painful days in the hospital, part of it isolated in a dark room and on a ventilator, because his parents wouldn't allow him to get a tetanus shot. The hospital stay alone was $811,929. Careflight, rehab, etc was additional, for a total of nearly a million dollars. Who do you think paid for it? Even if he had insurance, everyone who is insured paid. Quite likely he got medicaid, meaning taxpayers paid for it. The doctors wanted to give the boy tetanus vaccine after he recovered, but the idiot parents STILL wouldn't allow it. He contracted the disease at home, meaning the disease is lurking in his daily environment and he can look forward to another hospital stay and we can cough up another Million dollars to pay for it when he gets it again.

technically, if the boy got live tetanus, and survived it, wouldn't that give his immuun system something to have learned from? and wouldn't he have built up immunity that way?

(not stating fact, asking question)

Not a doctor but it’s a possibility. But it’s also a possibility that his immune system is such a wreck after that 60 days in the hospital that a booster would be a real good idea.

I mean when the alternative is dying, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t get the shot for your kid....

I agree with that but..
Our 'managed capitalism' system relies on a pyramid structure with the feckless youth masses supporting the retired benefactors.
If US citizens don't have motivated kids to work hard for the next generation, migrants might be needed.
(at least that is one of the rationales in liberal policy push)

Germany and Japan have flat growth rates, at least before, but we will see if that is sustainable.
Hopefully it is.
The entire world should ultimately become responsible for their own pop growth. So be it.

Watch the video, this is why I dislike Anti-Vaxers.

https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2019/03/12/judge-anti-vax-parents-cant-return/

Also Italy just banned kids from all schools unless they are up on their vaccinations.

We have extinct diseases blooming again, who is to blame for that?

Translation "Preventing my child from social interaction so he doesn't contract preventable but disfiguring diseases is wrong"

I suspect it resolve itself in a generation. WTF is wrong with these parents?

This is the latest potential outbreak in our area.
https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/news/Page14966.aspx
That is a pretty small sample of locations but how many people could possibly be affected by this?
edit
In 2011, the WHO estimated that 158,000 deaths were caused by measles. This is down from 630,000 deaths in 1990. As of 2018, measles remains a leading cause of vaccine-preventable deaths in the world. In developed countries, death occurs in one to two cases out of every 1,000 (0.1–0.2%)

Evidently not.

Sure but how do you get immunity for 10 years from a single shot then?
I know that vaccin comes from horses, but how would your own immune system not remember the fight against the first infection x amount of time after that first recovery?

Maybe because they are higher doses than what you would normally contract from the live bacteria? Not sure. I just heard from the story about the kid with tetanus that you can contract tetanus multiple times if you have not been vaccinated and you survive.
