Rampaging Females

Just drain the life out of you, even if you aren't the target.

Wow.

I'm bruised, and it doesn't let up.

Can't imagine how the target truly feels.

Have you ever gotten through?

There is a feedback loop of two females involved, both screeching any rationality out of hearing.

I'm beat, truly beat.

At least men can throw punches and shake hands after.

This is years long, I can't seem to stop it, it doesn't seem to end.

Do you have any real chance of making a difference? Must you be involved? Or do you simply wish to make a difference?

If you can remove yourself do so, if not may heaven help you.

I'm not well equipped for large doses of female drama. Fortunately my wife and daughter are generally low drama.

I have a couple of sisters-in-law who seem to live for drama. I can't take much of them, fortunately I don't see them much. A couple of nieces seem to have caught the drama as well.

A have a close buddy who is having big trouble in his marriage after 30 years. His wife was always pretty high maintenance but social media seems to have driven that into the stratosphere. The marriage appears to be a lost cause.

My step sister is an absolute loon. She has disavowed her father, her biological mother, her step-mother (my mother) and me several times over the last 35 years, only to be allowed back into the family at every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But not by me. I've had enough. She sent me a Facebook friend request last week and I declined it.

I generally ignore the crap out of drama queens..
if they insist on a response from me, I'll just laugh at em and dare em to go ballistic..
at which point I'll laugh louder.

I grew up with a nutjob drama queen as mother.
She would get all pissed off out of the blue over something trivial.
I would laugh at it
she would threaten to throw something at me from across the table
I would laugh and state "you can't aim for sj1t anyway"

Then she would actually throw a coffee cup or something like that
and I would laugh because she missed..
HAHA told you so

Then it usually was about time to run.

the trick was always to be out of arms reach
One time I neglected that rule, and she schwacked me in the head with one of those 20cl glass coca cola bottles

I can tell you, them bottles are hard.

They are all crazy as a loon I tell ya. My buddies wife started to text message me all week last week. I had to put a stop to that asap. I cannot even imagine how pissed he , or my wife would be , if they found the messages .
I feel so bad for the guy. I cannot possibly be the only dude she has tried to scoop on . It went from 2 or 3 friendly texts , right to business. Never provoked .
Dude is a super nice guy, and I really like him. No way would I schmooze on his wife . I bet his life is a living hell. Seems like there is some crazy boiling under the surface for sure . I can just see her going ape **** crazy on him .

If I were ignorant I'd be happily oblivious.

Problems,

Cannot discuss the issue.

If Issue is discussed one of two things happens:

Deflection

Dishonesty

Subjects warp anything said to fit their imagined(terrible) view of people.

Then they act on that warped perception to undermine others.

Subjects are connected via marriage to power.

Instead of an out in the open fight like men, this a deadly snip, cut, and pressure.

Destruction seems to be the goal, although that wouldn't be acknowledged.

I am safe from it if I keep my mouth shut as I haven't been the target.

But that could change.

It is a terrible thing to know someone that harbors soo much animosity yet hides it to such depths. I know two.

There are some exceptions such as if you are young and want kids or if you come across a "unicorn" of a woman - but my 3 rules for survival are:

1. Never date a woman with children still living at home
2. Never get married - ever
3. Never let a woman move in with you

I know that makes me sound like a woman hater but really I'm not. Those 3 rules are as much to help her as it is to help him. Stay in your own homes and date. Even have sleep overs if you want. But the minute you start living under one roof....you are stuck.

Just my 2 cents.....

I remember when I bought my first house. It was already a somewhat stressful time trying to make it happen, but what I remember most i, was watching my wife ( we had only been dating for about 2 years at that time ) carrying her stuff up the stairs into my home, and thinking "oh ****, you've really done it now Fred "
I was right, no turning back after that point .

Gentlemen, Thank you for reminding me how lucky I am there are no drama queens in my life.

May you all be as fortunate, some day.

Have you considered introducing them to PARF? They'd fit right in.

My buddy is twice divorced. He practices the "Catch and release" method of dating. He never leads them on, he is up front, no marriage is going to happen. Date, have fun, remain friends. It is almost spooky how many ex-girlfriends he has that will still call him for advice on buying a car, fix a leaking faucet, or help with a car mechanic.

He is just over 50, reasonably fix, (no gut) and owns a nice house, and very smart. He says women at that age are like picking out what donut to get. Have a bite or two, and move on to the next one.

He says when he finds a solid 10, that is not bat chit crazy, has no young kids, likes to travel, is good in bed, and is a multimillionaire he might settle down. But unicorns are hard to find.

I am so dang lucky. Married 27 years and she is 100% sane. No petty BS at all.
