I thought McElheney was excellent last night. The fact that he played very very well and they still lost speaks to the Bruins dominance.
Funny that Carolina picked him up from Toronto on waivers, while Toronto had terrible back-up goaltending. |

De Canes got schooled by Da Broons. An interesting stat in the eastern playoffs that may augur "not well" for the B's.
All teams which swept a series lost their succeeding rounds. Insofar as Metropolitan teams go; the "sweepor" became the "sweepee" & the B's made the trifecta a fait accompli in becoming conference champs. Hats off - Da Broons (with more than a little help from some guy named 'Tukka') were easily the better team last night & are worthy of their latest title. Just hoping for a "clean" result to night. Cheers JB |

Well it's now a 3 game series for the Sharks and Blues . Predictions ?
|
No prediction but I'm hoping it goes 7 and is brutal all the way. That will wear down which ever opponent the Bruins face and give Chara and a chance to heal up. Something tells me Wagner may not be back till the fall.
Tuukka (correct spelling) was drafted by the Leafs. |

Hey did anyone notice March got a goal and assist in game 4? :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1558189278.jpg Even Keith Jones on NBCSN says he likes Marchand. The 2-1 game last night tells me that this could go either way. |
BTW, I still don't know who Rod is calling "Kissy boy". Crosby is not a goalie.
|
1st period almost over , Blues have been a good road team so far and are up 1-0 . But Sharks have shown they can strike quickly . Good game so far .
|
As Dandy Don used to sing on MNF " turn out the lights the parties over " on this game . Anything is possible but I think the Blues have this game in hand .
|
Da Broons are getting a YUGE rest, but how long is too long hmmmm? and yes that was an epic beat down.
|
Love not seeing some crap call help SJ win the last two.

So is this the end of the Sharks or will we see a Game 7?
|
A well rested Broons team must be salivating at the prospect of facing
whomever emerges victorious in the western final; a battered & bruised bunch. |

So what do you think guys ? Do the Blues close it out tonight or do the Sharks stay alive for a game 7 ? I agree with Flat there is a ragged edge of " we're well rested and hungry " vs. " we're too rested and have lost our edge " . It's a big challenge for the coaching staff of the Bruins to work them hard enough in practice to keep their edge . And not to believe the press clippings ! If the Bruins continue to work hard and work as a team they will be very hard to beat , especially if Rask just picks up from where he left off .
|
I predict a game seven. With the Blues winning the series.
|
SJs offense has gone a bit MIA lately and they have gotten some real breaks. I'm calling the Blues go to the finals, 6 or 7 IDK.
