Looks like first goal makes the difference once again. I am totally stunned that Rask wasn't named #1 star of the game. He should be MVP. Now if I could just remember who scored that first goal... Rats! I can't seem to remember. :D

Game 7: We'll find out who wants it more.

Random question: does an empty net goal count in the GAA stats?

Pinning the puck between his shoulder blades was a stunner for sure. Many goalies would've freaked and dropped causing an own goal.

A very long season and a equally long playoffs and now it's down to one game. Both teams will leave it all on the ice , let the best team win . Looking forward to game 7 .

Dear Hockey Gods, please let all who lace up their skates in Boston on Wednesday night find their inner pond hockey soul. Let them remember the pure joy of gliding on the ice with their friends, the pride that comes from putting the puck on their friends tape, the quiet satisfaction that rises and fades just as quickly when they make the perfect save and please please remove the gauzy haze that oft times blinds those charged with regulating the frenzied action of the match and endow them with the righteousness of the proper call. In The Great One's name we beseech you.

Should Da Broons prevail - the Conn Smythe undoubtedly goes to Tuuka Rask.

Inspired entreaty there, Flat

Cheers
JB

Give Chara the strength to crush thy foe into the corner boards.

I was planning a stay home viewing but decided to hit my local pub instead. I'm hoping for at least 1 OT.

I hope no OT.
I can barely stay awake for 3 periods.

Infidel!

Less than 2 hours until the puck drops , hoping for a great game seven.

Por_sha911 06-12-2019 02:43 PM

I really hope that the game is not determined by a bad ref calls or injury.
Bruins can win if Rask plays like game 6 and the #1 line scores.
The Blues need to stay out of the sin bin and have a better PK AND Binington has to play better.

First goal will help either team.

If the B's win, Rask is Conn Smythe and Bergie is Selkie #5!

Hoping to see this with #63 on the jersey (and you know he'd do the leap)

Oh well, there's always next year. :(

rfuerst911sc 06-12-2019 05:09 PM

The Blues came to play and not intimidated being on the road. But a long ways to go .

They just need one goal to get back in it.

Don Cherry always calls the worst lead in hockey: the two goal advantage.
Our favorite Marchand fan should know that!!!

Por_sha911 06-12-2019 05:52 PM

Binnington was the Blues weakest point. He needed to gain his confidence back. Once he had massive saves in the first period and the Blues took a two goal lead they had what they needed to win. Game over by the end of the first. Even if Rask stops a zillion shots the Bruins won't be able to overcome the Blues defense and Binnington's play tonight.

Uh Oh
