Binny is making a name for himself but this is embarrassing for a Cup game 7.

Not a lot of defense there.... Feeling sorry for Rask....

Congratulations to St. Louis and here's to the Cup.

Binnington and the Blues D put on a clinic tonight.

It was not the game 7 that I expected , I was hoping for a much closer game . But the Blues were ready and the Bruins weren't for whatever reason . Congrats to St. Louis they earned it . Binnington played very well for a rookie , if he was nervous he didn't show it . Don't forget the 24 Hours of LeMans is this weekend ! :D

Congrats to the Blues!

Now Marchand can get back to his regular job as mascot for Chuck E Cheese

Binnington did thew same thing as a 17 year old in Junior A. He was lights out, and the Blues ground the B's into the ice.

Too bad Marchand decided to take a 90 second shift, get gassed, then head to the bench instead of backchecking for another twelve seconds. That was a back-breaker.

Blues in 6. Maybe.

They've waited a long time...they are due.

I was close...and lucky.

Your classic "worst-to-first" - dead last in the league as of Jan. 3rd to Cup Champs Jun. 12.

Well done Blues.

This series was quite interesting as each team seemed to take turns in dominating the other.

Till the fall Gentleman, take care of yourselves & have a great summer

Cheers
JB

Jim Rome said this morning that he was really impressed with the NHL. He said the win would give hope to fans of teams, regardless of where they are ranked.

But what an amazing story. I had quit watching after the Flames got taken out, but then got back into the final series.

I've even started watching NBA...:)

And now the team that has gone the longest without a Cup is.......

The Toronto Maple Leafs. 1967. :)

Expect to hear that chant next year.

Did anyone else see the story of the 11yr. old girl with cancer that the team flew in for last nights game.
She celebrated with the team and kissed the Stanley Cup.

I thought this photo from one of the Boston newspapers really summed up how it felt as a Blues fan to win last night. :D

Thanks! After 20+ years of feeling like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football I fully expected the wheels to fall off at any moment. It's been a long wait. ;)
