Make Bruins Great Again

Well, there seems to be a lot of agreement on most of the matchups.
I'm hoping to hear from 1990 as we as some folks from Pittsburgh. Anyone want to take a shot at some dark horse scenarios? You know, like the Bruins winning the Cup with Marchand scoring the OT goal in game 7...

"Billybek books the west" for me although I have Vegas taking out the Hosers, which should be a
very tough & interesting series, to wit: they'll kick the living $chitt out of each other. Calgary, my sentimental choice & as I've mentioned previously, has to have Mike Smith regain his past form. Goal tending is Calgary's only suspect area & could prove to be the stumbling block on their road to the Cup as they have a very solid group of skaters. Sooo, the joker in the deck - is in the net. I don't see the Leafs, Canes, or the Isles making a lot of noise - but..... I see no weaknesses in the Bolts so if I had to bet any money, I would take them but I have to add, they'll come up against some stiff competition from a couple of tough opponents - Da Broons, or Caps - maybe? Honourable mention for the Pens, but the reality & current perception is they are little too thin defensively to be a serious contender for the long haul. Cheers JB

Hawk: Tampa has shown to buckle under when the opponents bring on the big hits. If they can stay off the boards and keep the speed game going they are strong. Whoever plays them has to resist the run and gun north/south game. Slow it down and check hard and often.
Flat: I'm hoping our little Brad has outgrown the stupidity. He is too skilled to have to resort to that now. He still chirps with the best of them. March is the WORST kind of agitator: one that gets you upset and while you are planning your revenge he pulls off some awesome move and scores.

C'mon 1990, I know you well enough to know you are going to be watching the playoffs. How about a couple predictions. Please?

Peter, if you can't get the bracket to work, how about give us some first round predictions, who will be in the final, and who will win.

And the puck has dropped on the 2019 post season.
Sorry, didn't fill out a bracket, but my predictions: TBL will NOT win the cup. Torts will say something epic at some point - probably something bitter related to the Blue Jackets' performance. Marchand will do something epic (and probably weird/unprofessional). I will try not to get too passionate about the Caps (now that they have the monkey off their back), but I will fail. The Caps will not make it to the final due to anemic special teams play. I will continue to root for whoever is playing the Pens, but they will exceed expectations, much to my chagrin. Let the games begin!

I don't think anyone is picking Columbus to win more than one game.
On a brighter note, the Isles are giving the Pens trouble. A really good game to watch. The score is close but NY has been dominant. They MUST stay out of the penalty box if they want to win games. Lo and behold, the Blues have tied it up!

Wow, what a game in Tampa. The Bolts are going to have to earn that cup if they want it.
C'mon, Isles!
