I promised to be civil so I'll hold off on comments about the Isles being up 3-0.

Bolt (down 0-2) playing now and they don't have home ice, don't have Kucherov (1 game), don't have Hedman (don't know why). Lets see what happens.

The Bolts have a steep hill to climb and about 20 minutes to do it, or they can pretty much start making golf reservations for next week.

And, my favorite:
The Bruins beat the Presidents Trophy winning Canucks in 2011!
I put Tampa in the finals in my brackets but, as I stated earlier, all the previous history goes out the window when the "second season" starts.
There has been some really good hockey being played even if the outcomes weren't what we expected.

It looks like the Pens and the Bolts are in quite a pickle, both down 3 games.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone from Tampa touch the Presidents Trophy?

In other news, Kadri is having an in-person hearing with the Dept of Safety. That means they are considering a suspension of more than 5 games. He was suspended 3 last year so I think he may have an extended vacation.

I don't thing anyone, including the Bolts, saw this coming.
And ya, that was a dick move by Kadri.

Playoff hockey it just doesn't get any better . It may be time to get out a few brooms , that's what happens when you read and believe the press clippings Tampa showed some life yesterday especially early 3rd period but couldn't buy a goal . That's the way it goes .

Vegas looks like they may be hitting their stride but we'll see . Jets stayed alive some good stuff going on . Pens leaving early won't break my heart

Yeah, that was not smart on Svechnikov's part. That's only Ovi's fourth career fight, but he's been around the block at least. And he outweighs that kid by 40 pounds.

Still, the Canes are up on the scoreboard, where it matters most.

Sacred feces Joe, that last period action was intense. Andersen played the Bs really well.

Anderson was excellent tonight but for most of the game, EVERYTHING the Bruins did to beat the Leafs in game 2 was missing in game 3. The number 1 line played like "#2"... No fore-checking, no taking away time and space on the Leafs, No heavy hitting on the boards.

Flames are in tough tonight.
Avs are out shooting them 2:1.
Tough start with a goal post and then a full 2 minute 5 on 3. Too many men I saw but the second penalty was crap....
Oh well hope they can turn it around.

Tonight will we see some teams eliminated ? I think Tampa is mentally out of it and will be swept .

Last night I believe the Flames played the ubiquitous 'stinker' teams seem to come up with or play every now & then.
Smitty kept the score from being much worse. You'll see a much better effort from the boys come Wednesday.

The Bolts will prevail to night to at least avoid being swept & it is a virtual toss-up on whether the Isles take
out the Pens in 4 straight. I hope Sid & Co. come up large (I like watching Sid) although Trotz has his
guys playing very well. The Pens are in tough.

The Jets/Blues should be the game of the night (for us westerners) & I'm taking the Jets.
Binnington will come back down to earth - should be good.

Vegas vs. the Hosers - man, that is some 'meat' league mean-a$$ed hockey. The Sharks may miss
"Jumbo' who some say got off a little light in his suspension - maybe due to his stature in the game -
a sure-fire first round Hall-of-Famer.

It's getting interesting Gents
Cheers
JB
