That's the problem, there is no rational basis for this valuation. The price of the stock is up because people expect the price to go up, but the underlying fundamentals do not support the price. Still, "the market can stay irrational much longer than you can stay liquid."

Hmm, I like Tesla but this looks like short squeeze triggered by Asian money looking for "safe haven" overseas. I still remember looking at VAG share being squeezed upwards some time in 2008...
