how many hurricanes and tornadoes do they forecast for the east coast and mid west? EVERY YEAR. rain, storms, floods, freezes, and, you know they will happen, I will wait for the earthquake every twenty years. we just get to whine about the democrats in power.

Hope everyone on the left coast is OK. I've only been through one, very small, earthquake and it was a bizarre sensation. Been through a couple of tornados - not fun at all.

That number must include every major case of flatulence in the area.

The tornadoes I’ve been through have been scary. The EQs have been a little unnerving, although I haven’t been close enough to the epicenter of a major EQ. And I hope I never do!

I have been a 1/4 mile from an epicenter of a small one..Heard this huge Kabam and a sharp jolt. Sounded like a midair collison of two jets..heard that to when a passenger jet and navy f111 collided over the San Gaberial mtns (Duarte).

The large EQ I experienced as a kid sounded like a freight train approaching before the shaking began. I still remember that.
