The new Mustang Mach E revealed

Earlier tonight in case you missed it. Perhaps the best part of missing it live was that you can skip the first 40 minutes!

I think the "video clip" of the Mach-E GT racing the previous GT's is nothing more than video game graphics at the 44:20 mark.

Gee...another electric SUV...and they call it a Mustang. Sigh....

Let's just say not all long term Mustang fans are thrilled...not any more than the Porsche fans here lining up to buy the E Porsche.

Some days it seems like the whole world is on LSD, is it in the water now? No, can't be that, I drink it and I'm fine

I can definitely confirm there's no LSD in the water
cause LSD molecules are highly unstable and fall apart in water, heat and sunlight.

That's the problem for any acid head, keeping the stash from degrading..
Old film roll tubes, couple of uncooked rice pellets to absorbe humidity and a freezer is usually the best way to store it.

The second reason I can confirm it hasn't happened , is that there are to much conflicts and wars happening... If LSD was being mass administrated.. people would be a lot more mellow .

Third reason , is that my water intake hasn't gone up yet

I hate those center screens. I enjoyed driving my sisters TESLA but I really wanted to turn off the giant map/display. There must be a mode to do that? Or make it display a vintage car center stack with am/fm radio etc.

In the end, I hope that the transition b/w ICE and electric powered cars is comparable to the mind scramble of transitioning from piston powered aircraft to gas turbines with the added benefit of lower emissions. In the mean-time, Ford has managed to make the answer to a question nobody asked. "What if we made an electric Aztek?"

They could have called it the Maquis in lieu of Mach-E.

46:30 mark Bill says 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, faster than a Ferrari Portofino.

Looks aerodynamic.

Color me impressed.

300 mile range, not too bad.

In final production, touch screen will be enlarged to include a virtual E-steering wheel, gas, and brakes.

Who decided to call that a mustang? Rian Johnson?

Having raced RC cars at facilities that have both gas and electric present I can tell you that for the electric guys the real hot rodding is batteries.

You want to hot rod an electric? Buy batteries in bulk, test individual cells, and put together special packs of the best cells out of thousands.

Diversity at it's best. I get it, the manufacturers are going total electric. What a shame.

They are going to do the same with the Bronco, and Ram has plans as well.

This reminds me of when Porsche tried to stick the 911 nose on everything. Why a Mustang, what does that buy them? I seriously doubt if real Mustang buyers are going to cross shop a crossover electric SUV.
