Couple thoughts, we haven’t peaked yet.

Frightening that the population of Germany, Spain and Italy together is still half of ours and they have nearly 2x the cases.

And yeah, China is BS.

Yes, but to me, a better comparison is cases / population. If you had a town with 1 million people and 100 cases or a town with 1000 people and 100 cases, which town is actually doing worse? The US has >330 million people. The only places that we shouldn't be ahead of are China and India. China has lied about their cases. I understand that India is on a serious lockdown. I'm also a bit curious about how their numbers seem so low considering the amount of inhabitants and the way they live.

Absolutely! I think the cases and death toll out of China are a total load of hooey. China might know the real numbers, but there's a chance that they don't even know. Certainly, even if they have real numbers, no one else is privy to them.

Absolutely! I think the cases and death toll out of China are a total load of hooey. China might know the real numbers, but there's a chance that they don't even know. Certainly, even if they have real numbers, no one else is privy to them.

Unfortunately I suspect the issue with numbers from India may be that there are lots of people sick/dying/dead but nobody knows because they're extremely poor.

The other place I have absolutely no confidence in with regard to accurate numbers is Russia.

I know for sure that over 2 weeks ago, Russia did what everyone else should have done... 2 week mandatory quarantine before you set foot in the country.

We cancelled going to what is usually a very good conference for us because of this.
