Green is moisture resistant, purple adds mold resistant. We typically do whole bathrooms in purple, with cement board in the shower/bath area.

I’m thinking about putting a large screen on the family room wall, I’m looking At the ultra short throw projectors. We are still trying to get organized so we will be replacing some of the furniture and figuring out how we want things. Still have some trim work and blinds to put up, only big thing left is the shower in the spare bathroom. I removed the old tub and going to just go with a tiled shower.
We also haven’t decided what to do with the doors, the wife wants them stained a darker color, I’m thinking it would be a lot easier to paint them white.

The living room, dining room, and bedrooms all have the same flooring and wall paint. I also need to get the garage organized so I can get the cars in there.

When the time comes, just put your furniture by the curb and you will get the opportunity to meet Baz!
House looks great! Boat looks amazing! I like the brick too.

All looks great. But I think the oak colored doors in the kitchen look out of place with the rest of the decor. If I may suggest, try white doors. I think it would look better with the grey, white, stainless, and black theme.

We are not done with the doors. Wife wants them stained dark, similar to the front door you can see in the pic, but will probably end up painting white.

Also, where are the cats? You need a couple cats and I can help with that. I have 2 Thailand Burmese neutered males that need a new home. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge. BTW, the new kitchen lay-out is much better than the old. Appliances within easy reach of each other and just a step away from the island, dishwasher, sink. Much better than the old layout. Tell the kitchen guy "good job". Last edited by abisel; 08-14-2020 at 06:55 PM.. |

Ended up painting all the interior doors white, except the front door. Also getting closer to finishing. Still have a fan to install in the family room, a outlet or two to add. Also need more power to the dock, I have underwater lights still to install. Also waiting on new blinds for the family room.
I’m sure there are more things on the wife’s list, but that list never ends. ![]()

Here is a pic of the guest/pool bath. You can’t really tell from the pic, but it’s 5’x 2.5’. Originally there was a steel tub there.
The tile guy wanted a little over $3,000 to tile, not including the glass door. I did it myself for around $1,500 including the door. ![]()

Ok, that made me laugh.
I've seen (and thrown on) enough stucco for a lifetime. Have you considered decorative stone or hardwood? Even veneers would be better than plain stucco.
