Actually, not his first movie. The missus and I watched this one the other day. I about fell out of my chair when I saw him.

Sequel to "Creature from the Black Lagoon"

You are correct. Creature March 1955 release. Tarantula December 1955 release.

Honest mistake as I have read in several places Tarantula was the first.

I’m shocked when I watch old movies and famous older actors(actresses) when they were young and realize what a long career they’ve had.
All those years of acting must be the reason Hollywood has so much wealth.
Can you imagine how much money Clint Eastwood has accumulated over his career with residuals and back ends from acting, producing, and directing?
It’s gotta be astronomical.
No sour grapes here though, he’s one of my favorites actors of all time and deserves every bit. Ever since Outlaw Josey Wales came out when I was a kid.

Per IMDB, he wasn't credited in Creature, maybe Tarantula was his first credited role.

He was not credited in either movie per IMDB. In Tarantula he never takes his flight mask off and is only on screen for several seconds (two-three short scenes)leading the four military aircraft that kill the giant Tarantula. Crap, that's a spoiler. I apologize.

Good job finding that.

It's actually a very good movie considering the genre and date. On par with Them.
