The Stuttgart Collection is going up for auction!

This collection includes some ultra-rare low mileage Porsche models. Such as a 1996 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo in triple Yellow with just 745 miles and all of the original documentation with the spare keys still present!



A 911 2.7 S Targa with just 562 miles. It is unregistered and comes with the NOVA Certificate and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, looking exactly as it did when it left the factory in 1976.



Next, we have a 1963 356B T6 Super 90, which underwent an extensive restoration.

The car was granted FIA Competition Papers in 1989 and has since took part in road rally events including Le Rallye de Monte-Carlo Historique three times. It comes with an extensive history file which includes pictures of the car on the rally, the original green and brown buff log books, old FIA papers, and Porsche’s Certificate of Authenticity.

Right, someone needs to be pimp slapped for a month.

If I had silly money, I might be tempted to get a couple of cars that are essentially brand new. I would, despite the, premium, once I was sure that things were healthy, drive the hell out of it. It would be cool to have something 20, 30, 40, 50 years old that hadn't been neglected and abused by a dozen previous owners. But again, I'd have to have silly money.

If you put a few hundred to a thousand miles on it every year, do you still think it will be worth that much still in 10 years?

Who the flip cares. If that entire collection is for sale, I am guessing the owner died or close to death. He would have made even more money with stock market and real estate investments.

Not driving those cars is like not having sex with your wife to save her for the next husband.

My Speedster only had two owners before me. I'm pretty sure they abused it - the left front fender is from the wrong year and the hood doesn't have the chassis number stamped in it.
But I'm OK with that. I abused it plenty myself.

I am asking because I have two of those cars and I drive them when possible. Yep, I drive them and not worry about the resale value but these have under 1000 miles on them and from a very exclusive collection.

I have 21,000 on my 993tt and 50xxx on the 930 cab. Man, tell you this, that cab had been driven pretty damn hard. The 993 not so much, yet.

I did not buy my 911 with resale in mind. The good news for me is it has more than doubled in price and I drive it often. It has 176,000 miles, it has taken me to 40 states and Canada with plans to hit 8 more states.

It is a car meant to be driven. I saw a guy at Porsche Parade concours with a near clone of my car, but it had just 22,000 miles. So under 800 miles per year. It looked better than most cars do when new. I just can't imagine having a toy like mine, and driving it hard and often. It sure puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I can't possibly care less it I get a few grand less at resale, it is worth the money to drive it.
