The new real Bronco, not the baby Sport, does it have IFS or? I would think that would limit articulation if it is struts or wishbone up front.

bronco has some neat colors and i like the 4 door look. if it wasn't a Ford i'd consider it.

Saw my first new Bronco today. It was prominently displayed in the Ford lot as I drove passed. It was in battleship gray color. It looked a lot like the FJ and about the same size. If it wasn't for the fact it was out in front of the rest of the cars in the lot on a display stand I don't think I would have noticed it.

I think the Bronco looks cool in 2 door version, but not enough to trade for my Jeep.

if your Jeep had rectangular headlights, would you trade?

I've owned a number of off-road vehicles - Three Wranglers (YJ I4 which was terrible, 12" lifted TJ with 37" tires and only a bikini top, and a lifted four door JK Rubicon), as well as an XJ, and a Discovery 2 which is still my daily, and the newest off-road capable vehicle that gets me excited is the new Defender 110.
I saw a black on tan example in person for the first time last weekend and was stunned. It was absolutely beautiful. Now if only Land Rover didn't have an issue with reliability... Regardless, can't wait for all of the mentioned used examples to come around in three years when my wife is looking for a cool new family carrier!

If it had rectangular headlights I would need to keep it to outrun the T-Rex.

No it was a trick question!!! correct answer is 'it wouldn't be a jeep if that were the case'.

I saw a new Defender and thought it was the ugliest thing ever. Looks confused and has a mix of styling.

I agree, I find it to be over styled and trying too hard to look rugged.

I'm more concerned about the 4WD system and assume it will use their current IWE system.. not the most robust system for a serious off roader..

I saw a Bronco Sport in my rearview mirror last weekend. He was behind me for a couple blocks, and then into the left turn lane next to me. Didn't look as bad as the pics, but still not as good as a Wrangler or (full) Bronco or the original (1990s) Defender 90.

they did this in '74 or '76 or something - didn't last long (for obvious reasons)
