I need a man.

Haha. Not like that...

I canceled my kayak fishing trip today. I wanted to rest up. BIG MISTAKE. my wife said. “I want to rearrange the furniture “. Ku-raaap!.

Quick mental check list of any guy friends that could help. Nope. I moved too far away from most of them and I know mostly women here. I rearranged the house solo. Then I spent a few hours pulling an ancient potato vine hedge out of a wood fence. The fence is getting replaced and the fencing companies exact words, “we are fence builders not gardeners “

My arms feel like jello and my body is vibrating. I am so wuuuuppped. Beyond tired. I’m wearing sweat pants and sipping wine for the rest of the day.

I’m helping a guy work on his FJ mid week. That dude is gonna owe me. My wife is still scanning the house. Ku-raap. I’m calling his ass next time.

On the bright side, we turned a spare room into a TV room. Much better WiFi. Next. New bedroom set.

It's just in similar situations, I feel more comfortable if there is some indication the Mrs. is really happy with the end result. An acknowledgment - "Gee this is SOOO much better than before"

And then a written statement of such, signed, notarized, and copied in triplicate. Perhaps an audio tape in states where that is permissible in court of law.

You need furniture slides. I can move furniture by myself with those.
