Single serve coffee that comes in something like a tea bag?

The missus makes her coffee in a coffee press. She wants to keep doing that in our rural property, but due to the septic tank, it's a pain to rinse the grounds out of the press between cups.

Is there a good coffee that comes in anything like a tea bag that could be used in a press? I feel like I've seen round tea bag single serve coffee, but I don't drink coffee, so I can't remember and don't know if it's any good or not.

Eight O'clock brand used to market "coffee bags" but that may have lost out to K cups.

She's going to compromise on quality most likely. How coffee militant is she?

Maybe look at another design thats easier to clean.

I use an aero-press when camping. You get a puck at the end with minimal cleanup.

Starbucks via is what we do. That being said, we’ve been using normal coffee in a coffee maker since Covid has had me working from home and just washing the grounds down the sink... never thought of it being an issue until right now...

Try a nespresso. Technically it’s expresso, but you get a great cup of coffee with ease.

Traditional espresso machine if she drinks that.

Nice little puck. Minor clean up. Impress your friends.

Saw this very thing at the grocery store this weekend when I was picking up coffee. The coffee was in individual bags like tea. I don't recall the brand, but remember seeing it as it was the first time.

This plus an appropriate size scoop might work.

Ese pods were a precursor to the k-cups. They are filter pods and use an Espresso machine.

Personally, I'd go k-cup for your needs, or super-automatic Espresso machine. Nespresso pods are an alternative to k-cup and closer to Espresso

Yep, that's what we've done in the past when we had a house, sprinkled them around the roses. That's what I did when we were there this past weekend. But it's going to be a pain in the rear to run out to the fig tree or roses every time she has a cup of coffee (she [I] make coffee a cup at a time).

If you already have access to a Keurig, get her to try Lavazza "Gran Selezione" or something like that. It will end the search right there.

I know it's not answering your question, but it's so good why deal with a messy coffee pot?

This still requires a disposable pod?

This link is to a clever coffer dripper. Been using this system for years. Basically an immersion system, like a french press, but utilizes a paper filter. Great cup of coffee with similar flavor profile as the french press. Check it out!
