That is the happiest podium I have seen in a while. Great results.

Amazing to see Hamilton screw up on his own and get zero points. I figured the restart was just to let Hamilton win. He fix that. A rare mistake on his part.

Max just had rotten luck, Lewis did it to himself.

It is being reported after the race a 6 cm cut was found on Lewis Hamilton's left rear tire . So something was going on with left rear tires . Chassis setup ? Something with the course ? Will be interesting what is determined .

A shame for the blowouts. Stroll was running on hard tires and would have been in points had it not been for his blowout. I wonder why they had chosen the softest 3 compounds of the range for this race when it has some of if not the highest speeds.

Yeah Pirelli can "sell" this however they like but that looked bad for the brand.
I think it's time (even for me) to acknowledge Lance Stroll is a decent driver, he had a shot at a podium as well. Apparently HAM left the "brake magic" button on (as evidenced by his smoking hot brakes on the restart), good to see he's human. Very happy for the top 3, Gasly deserves a top team ride but as a redbull guy he's got nowhere to go. Nice restart for Alonso too !

I was at the USGP in Indy back in 2005 with the tire protest when half the field didn't race because Michelin wouldn't guarantee they tire to withstand the loads after several bad crashes in the FPs. Baku yesterday was very similar. I imagine the team's are going to have some serious discussion with Pirelli.

Finally some bad luck for Hammy that was actually driver error. Reminds me of the season a couple of years after he got to Mercedes when the rules forbade the engineers from setting the bite point on the clutch for the starts and he was having such horrible starts that mysteriously the rule was changed.

The race ran so long that it was 37 minutes into a rerun of Sports Center. So before the last drop of champagne hit the podium floor ESPN thanked us for watching. I really wish another platform would buy the broadcast rights

Could have been track debris that ended the life of the two LR tires...... or a conspiracy. Which of the two attracts more eyes? Wait for the autopsies.

Ya think? He's not doing his job, hit and miss for VB and he's driving the best car, he won't be in it next year IMO.

Best car, I don’t think so, it’s like he gets LH’s hand-me-downs. Although I do think he has lost competitive edge; years of taking team rules to be the rodeo clown will do that to you…

Pretty cool video about what is required for race tracks to host an F1 race. Sorry but no embed option.

They were both at Detroit last week, only Kevin was winning the IMSA race.

Dang you beat me to it.

Saw this atrocity on social media this morning. Reminds me of "Beverly Hills Cop" when Eddie Murphy laughs at the guys dressed like Michael Jackson walking down the street.

Nice video. I had no idea what the scope of her duties are.

Do you happen to know how she acquired that role? Thanks.
