Back in my 40s, I noticed I was getting older when I was lookiing at the mothers instead of the daughters.

The final shock, I guess, is when the new Supreme Court Justices are younger than you. |

(pre covid of course) Standing in a long queue at Sydney airport. A plain clothes customs/cop singles me out from the 150 other people me and says "If you have nothing to declare you can jump the queue and go." Ha, not that many years ago I used to be singled out to have my bags searched.
