Interesting. I have less than no knowledge of Glocks or their peculiarities. It does strike me (pardon the pun), however, that if the striker fall with a light spring is critical enough that one primer or the other provides some advantage, I would go with the heavier spring that allows for any primer.

I suspect this affects trigger pull, with its semi-cocked, pull the trigger to finish cocking it operating principle? I know guys back off the tension screws on double action revolver main springs in an effort to lighten the double action trigger pull. and yes, I've seen plenty of them set too light to be reliable with all ammunition. Myself, I'll give up a little in trigger pull for reliability, even on a "range gun" that will never see hunting nor carry duty. For a carry gun, or hunting gun, reliability wins every time, of course.

IDK but you probably don't have my level of arthritis. I do train my off hand as much as my natural hand but need to cater to my natural hand.

Yeah, that changes things. I sympathize entirely. I've been on an Orencia "click jet" RA treatment for a number of years. Mine isn't so much a loss of strength as it is dexterity, and the constant background pain. Thankfully it hasn't affected my shooting yet, at least not much. I do find my hunting revolvers more "challenging", due to their heavy recoil.

It sounds like you have found a creative way to overcome your own personal challenge and keep on shooting. Hat's off to you. Do whatever it takes.

Any thoughts on where to buy some .22-250 rounds? Should I buy online and have it shipped to Texas? What online site is recommended? Texas is where I want it to go, I'm in CA. I want to practice with a rifle my in-laws have on the ranch. Last time I was there I missed a shot on a hog.
