Anyone experiencing an increase of package thievery in your area? We have been getting our freshly deliveries stolen consistently.

Multiple very obvious cameras, and a few discrete ones hidden. Put a big notice, all activities are recorded. It will not stop the thiefs, but it will give the cops evidence. They likely will not go find the low life thieves, but if they do catch them, they can add your evidence to the list.

If nothing else you will know who it is. It might be a thief that is a close by neighbor or a car you recognize.

I wish they didn't have graphics all over the boxes with "Blue Apron" "Freshly" "Hello Fresh", in big obvious graphics. I understand the companies want to get the name out there, but it tells a thief "hey there is a box of food"

No increase...but it has happened. Rural area, know neighbors, Cindy & I usually home, often pick up mail & hold packages.

Gogar? Any retired living close to you? Befriend them...might be a nice thing to do even without the benefits.

Ever watch the package thief videos? These poor starving people get in the CAR and take the stolen package to their HOUSE where they open it. In the background you can normally see their TV and when the package activates they start recording with their CELL PHONE. Those poor starving people....

We haven’t had issues in our hood, but we pretty much all have multiple cameras. I have mine tied to smart lighting too, so as soon as they walk up the drive or sidewalk everything lights up to let them know they are being watched.

My netgear cable modem delivered in the original box, with just a shipping label on it
