Dang autocorrect!

There are several web sites that have a lot of funny autocorrect fails.

Like this one above.

Two weeks ago I spent the day at the Oklahoma race track, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. It is a fun, very technical track. As I was worn out and had an hour and 15 minutes of track time in the dry and 30 minutes in damp conditions I was done.

I was waiting for a session to end, so they would open the gate and let me leave. I thought the last cars had passed and the gate opening was imminent so I quickly replied to my wife's text. Then I got a bad case of the giggles when I saw her reply and looked at what I sent. If anyone was looking at me they likely thought I had gone over the edge. That is me next to the white 911 in the group photo. We had just 4 cars in my run group, so it was like a private track day.

I got the giggles several times on the drive home thinking about that reply.

Then last night my brother sent me a text.....

He recently came across a great deal on a patio heater. I know they are in big demand from restaurants that want to have outside eating due to the pandemic. He found a good deal on a used one.

Of course my reply to him was WHAT? His reply was 4,000 BTU!

So, have any of you had a funny typo or autocorrect blunder?

I have stopped calling it autocorrect

I only refer to it as autowrong which is IMHO more correct

Yeah, I hardly ever do speech text unless it's REAL simple.

My iPhone spell checker is not as complete as Google and the suggestions are in left field behind the fence.

This is the signature line in all emails coming from my iPhone...

Please excuse any spelling or grammatical errors. This was sent from an iPhone...

Nothing correct about it. Anyone else miss the Blackberry that had a physical keyboard? I used to bang out emails on that thing like nobody’s business, didn’t even have to look at the keys.
