Let's see who has the highest mileage car!

Hey Pelicans!

SC-Targa's thread hitting hitting 200,000 miles got me wondering who has the highest mileage car?

So lets see those high mileage cars!

We had one of our PeachParts customers come to our Coffee & Cars hitting half a million miles!

Here's my 1984 E30 with 211,000 on the clock after a road trip from LA to Tacoma, WA and back

I'm sure we have quite a few air-cooled guys well over 300,000!

196k is the most I've ever gotten. It was an '84 Mazda GLC. My '03 Tundra almost made it that far. It's still on the road, but not under my ownership.

This is a replacement speedo. It understates the actual mileage.

What’s crazier than the miles is the condition. You’d think it had under 100k on it by looking at it.

I was a up to 373,469.1 miles right now. I bought my 1986 El Camino 30 years ago with 41,000 miles or so on it.

And it does have some patina, but very nice shiny paint and clean interior.

All these low miles cars...when Frank Barrett was editor/publisher of Star, he stopped by here driving a Mercedes diesel...one Million miles. Took a ride in it and it still drove well.
Original owner was a guy in Eugene who drove to the Portland area to work...I can't imagine a much more boring daily commute. The entire front end looked sandblasted.
I guess in a way, it was...

This 1984 Audi Quattro 4000 was my older sisters car that my parents bought used for her and then I drove all through high school. We both beat on it pretty good but it was indestructible and was a champion of VT winters.
When I graduated from high school it had over 250,000 miles on it. But at that point it was ready for the bin.

Well, I have a 2000 Lexus RX300 with 297,000 miles on it. It was my daily until a few weeks ago it started having an issue that I haven't had checked out yet. So I parked it and got the old 1998 Buick Lesabre Custom all cleaned up and it is back to being my daily again with 194,000 miles on it.

My 01 F150 had 225,000 on the clock, when I traded it in for my 14 F150. My new truck has 145,000 miles now.

My 05 330ci has 175k on the clock.

I drove a 1990 Renault Espace that I bought new for 450,000 miles until I sold it in 2000 still running well on the original petrol engine and transmission,, to a guy that offered to buy it from me. The replacement car I bought new was a Mazda Premacy diesel that I sold to the wreckers yard in 2010 ,not running and uneconomic to repair the original engine , at 269000. It's replacement, a Ford Focus 1.8 diesel estate car, I sold in 2018 still running at 239000 miles but with the turbo acting strangely.

I got up over 300,000 on my TDI (and the AC still worked). Sold the car off and the guy put the engine in a different car, he's at 425,000 miles on the engine with the original turbo.
