If vaccines for polo, diphtheria, and other ailments are mandatory for (for example) admittance to public school, I don't understand the resistance to making a Covid-19 vaccination in the same category.

To clarify: the vaccines were approved via an "emergency use" authorization, which means a very large amount of data rather than a huge amount of data. There is a big difference between "emergency use authorization" which is based on large amounts of data and a humanitarian device exemption which is used only for rare diseases (affecting fewer than 2000,000 people).

The only reason why the vaccination is not yet mandatory (as of this writing) for the US military is because of pentagon bureaucracy. I strongly suspect it will be mandatory quite soon.

It really appears that Pfizer is going to get full authorization within the next month or so. Moderna within 2.

Once they get full approvsl the military will make them mandatory.

It is also notable that is is quite legal for employers to require vaccination as a condition of employment. No one is forcing anyone to get the COVIS-19 vaccine, but it can be made a requirement the same as personal protective equipment, clocking in at a certain time, etc.

To all who don't get the vaccine, I have to ask: Do you stop at stop signs and red lights? If so why, as this is a government-mandated rule for your safety and that of others?

I was around for the Anthrax mandate. There were officers and enlisted that objected. It didn't go well for them.

He has a habit of shooting the messenger, rather than even looking at what he had to say, much less evaluating it. I’m always more impressed when people debate the points that are made, not who made them. I tend to not respect the opinion of anybody that dismisses things out of hand, especially when they are not in anything close to the relevant field.

Half of the liberals here, if not more, refuse to even look at any link that comes from a conservative website. It doesn’t matter what the information is, the mere fact that it was posted, or cross-posted, on the conservative site is enough for them do not even look at it. The site may have absolutely nothing to do with what’s posted there, they are just quoting it from somewhere else. Nonetheless, because it briefly landed on a conservative page, it becomes a legitimate in their minds.

I can’t imagine you supporting that sort of asinine behavior but go ahead, prove me wrong.
