Maybe, but the people we’re losing are young and dying way before their time. My 27 yo son had a close friend overdose and die last year and my son didn’t even know he was using. I have two coworkers (including one in the office next to mine) who lost sons in the last couple years and one of my ex-wife’s friends lost a daughter a few years ago. The devastation it does to the living is enormous.

The overdose issue in the past couple of years is related to Fentanyl substitution. Drug dealers never give you the breakdown of the things in the drugs they sell.
