Thanks and its time to come up for air. While I absolutely love my career, its time and after being retired for two months now am starting to like being able to say no and do what I want! Like go for a drive in the 911 or XF!

To close this out.
So the F Type wasn't for me. I started looking for XK's. Tough car, only 1,000 or so crossed the pond a year and the color options were difficult. Real hard to find a light exterior with a light interior. Remember, I'm in TX. Had to be 2010 or better because they got the bigger motors. Was really focusing on 2013 and up because the headlights are a nicer shape. Then XK or XK R. I mean you want the Supercharged version right. Drove a couple of NA XK's and those things are absolute beasts. The Supercharged is just stupid fast for a daily driver and the ride is a bit harsher. Almost pulled the trigger on a couple but just wasn't feeling it. Then last week this one popped up. It's a 2011 so I'm bummed about the headlights but it's the right color combo, a 1 owner car, only 44k on the clock. Gets delivered Tuesday. ![]() ![]()

That is just beautiful.
4K a year is almost perfect mileage. Enjoy.

For some reason I lost the camera roll with the better pictures. But this is 1994, an XJS V12 with the same color. My XJS has 127k on it. Have I done a ton of work? Yea.
I have the TEVES II nitrogen and electrical assisted brakes. They were in bad shape, but now they are perfect and stop on a dime. Jag does unique things, most repairs on my suspension takes special tools. For DIY these are not for the faint of the heart I'm certain the one you're looking is worlds apart fro mine. Really once a year I take it out with the top down for our anniversary. Just like the old Lexus commercial I could stack wine glasses on the hood and they wouldn't fall off. I noticed in the one pick the drivers bolster is going out. There is a company in Florida that sells the real leather to fix that. "Paul's Jaguar. Parts for me are ridiculously priced, if they are even available. I wont deter you, they go a lot of mikes, but service is key. ![]()
