I was looking at picking up a Cayman but it's not the most practical car. Panamera is practical but those things are hit or miss, they either look fugly as hell or hot depending on color / wheel / trim package combo.

I have a soft spot for long hood fastbacks with a bit of junk in the trunk.

I may grab a friend and look at it today.

Cars been there a bit so I'm thinking they may be open to offers just to move it along.

If we can meet at $28 or under it'll be tough to say no.

I am the Admin for the Jaguar XF forum on Facebook (there are two of them, one based out of the UK and one here in N.America) and we have a LOT of them that are approaching 200k miles. Yes you have to take care of them but if you do they usually last. My current driver is a 2013 with just over 50k that I have had for going on 4 years with no problems!

bite the bullet and do it!

This thing was either motor running or not, seemed no obvious way to get any interior power if the motor wasn't running.

Not sure if that's just the way they are which would be a really bizarre choice or if this particular car had an issue.
Thats easy... sit in the seat and do not put your foot on the brake. Then push the start button on the console and as long as the key fob is within range, everything will come on, but just does not start the engine.

It's roomy but felt a bit claustrophobic.

End of day, gorgeous car but I'd not enjoy the experience.
It sounds like you may be accustomed to driving German cars.

To close this out.

So the F Type wasn't for me.

I started looking for XK's.

Tough car, only 1,000 or so crossed the pond a year and the color options were difficult.

Real hard to find a light exterior with a light interior. Remember, I'm in TX.

Had to be 2010 or better because they got the bigger motors.

Was really focusing on 2013 and up because the headlights are a nicer shape.

Then XK or XK R. I mean you want the Supercharged version right.

Drove a couple of NA XK's and those things are absolute beasts. The Supercharged is just stupid fast for a daily driver and the ride is a bit harsher.

Almost pulled the trigger on a couple but just wasn't feeling it.

Then last week this one popped up.

It's a 2011 so I'm bummed about the headlights but it's the right color combo, a 1 owner car, only 44k on the clock.

Gets delivered Tuesday.

That is just beautiful.

4K a year is almost perfect mileage.

Enjoy.

For some reason I lost the camera roll with the better pictures. But this is 1994, an XJS V12 with the same color. My XJS has 127k on it. Have I done a ton of work? Yea.

I have the TEVES II nitrogen and electrical assisted brakes. They were in bad shape, but now they are perfect and stop on a dime. Jag does unique things, most repairs on my suspension takes special tools. For DIY these are not for the faint of the heart

I'm certain the one you're looking is worlds apart fro mine. Really once a year I take it out with the top down for our anniversary. Just like the old Lexus commercial I could stack wine glasses on the hood and they wouldn't fall off.

I noticed in the one pick the drivers bolster is going out. There is a company in Florida that sells the real leather to fix that. "Paul's Jaguar.

Parts for me are ridiculously priced, if they are even available. I wont deter you, they go a lot of mikes, but service is key.
