The Wurth ones were the best anyway…

We used to always get one of these calendars and put the pages in guys rig bags when they would head out to the field… or in the pelican case of newly rebuilt downhole tools…

My inside understanding was the President's ( of Snap-On) wife would select the girls and outfits for their yearly calendar shoot. Sexy, but tasteful was the goal. I think by the late 90's or so most all that stuff went by the Wayside as far as automotive shops go.

The Pirelli calendars were almost too naughty for most shops if customers could see it.

What are you willing to pay for a 1994 Snap-on calendar? I hung on to it after realizing it was probably the last girl year.

Gawd! What sexists we were...until we learned that sexism hurts everyone, especially broads.

Then, internet pºrn became a thing and the Pirelli calendars just got arty and weird.

I used to get these aftermarket catalogs from Germany. Thick as the Sears Christmas catalog.

Every edition had a "girls story" with nudes. One year Brooke Burke from E! and Dancing with the Stars was featured in the story, nude. It may even be this edition:

When Rigid Tools stopped printing their most excellent calendars, my favorite German car shop had a stack of old ones. It takes, basically, a stack of seven of them to form a collection that can still be used as calendars. The dates and weekdays can still be correct, but just with a wrong year.

Ridgid Tools had some great calendars back in the day.

There was a point when it was no longer acceptable to have that type of calendar or poster at your workstation. Some of the women at work were still able to have their firefighters calendars though.
They were not happy when they were asked to take them down by management. Lol.

I prefer an area throw or carpet runner myself. Hardwood floors have their advantages too. Kinda helps with the grip.

Yup, the inner 14 year old got ahold of my phone for a couple of minutes

A few of the small auto parts places around here still give out nude calendars.

Another company I remember having great girly calendars besides Rigid, was Facet Filters. That was back in the 80's

worked at Boeing for years and years, Snap on posters and coffee mugs were common for the sales reps to hand out.

Boeing started cracking down and my boss said "your snap on coffee mug has to go" as it had a Daisy Duke clone on it. I took my black sharpie and covered the naughty bits with more coverage and said "you happy with this now?" grins.
