This cracked me up. My wife is a huge Jon Anderson fan. I will have to check and see if we have this album.
As for the question, is it constrained to songs released as singles? Even then, there are too many songs I like to have a favorite, especially as I am discovering new to me music.

Surprisingly, Christopher Cross was a really good guitar player! He could really wail if needed. There's a live version of "Ride Like the Wind" on youtube somewhere where he really shreds at the end of the song.

It seems we’re mixing pop ballads with rock and roll. Sailing? Great song, but not rock and roll. The top of my all-time-favs list is Maybe I’m Amazed, but it’s not really rock and roll.
As such, I’m sticking with The Motor City Madman’s Stranglehold. Some people think they’re going to die some day I’ve got news, you never gotta go.

My theme song for the majority of my life has been "You Can't Always Get what you want" (but I know if I try, sometimes I get what I need)
But likely as mentioned already ZZ Top's Lagrange or Just Got Paid are two of the top contenders. And also Highway Star the live version from Made in Japan. That song MAKES my speed increase and can be dangerous on the highway.

Did someone say Canada? Rock n Roll was one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. Music from the 21st sucks bigley.

MO is this should be decade related as there are so many good singles. I think early on would have to be Johnny B Good. As soon as the first lick is played, your heart starts jumping
