Are your jackasses safe?

I wanted to be the first to introduce useless thread on this theme.

Most politicians are safe, and guarded.

I was all set up to post an "Are your Jackshafts safe" topic. I won't. Zeke gets cranky and my skin is too thin,...

Other possibilities:

Jackknives
Jackscrews
Jackdaws
Jackstays
Jackaroos
Jackals
Jackrabbits
Jackboots

Yeah, if we're talking real, actual animals, Jackasses can be bad to the bone, alpha protector. Look on Utube, might surprise you - them safeguarding other animals in the flock.

I saw something online recently where someone was looking for one to keep other animals safe. I thought that was interesting and not something that I'd ever heard about before.

Yep. I saw one video of a couple out walking with their dog, and a cougar went for the dog as a snack. They fortunately had their donkey with them as a pack animal. The jackass went after the cougar and was biting and tossing it around like a rag doll. It kicked the cougars ass.

Just a little over a mile from my house is my wife's dream house, it has 20 acres, and the owner must be a Elly May type. They have chickens, ducks, two Llamas, two horses, some goats, some dogs and I am sure a cat or two, and other critters. And one donkey to keep everyone safe. The chickens are often roosting in trees, and they have a large barn behind the house.

Uh Oh. I don't want to get on Zeke's wrong side. I need his advice too often.

Those are all good suggestions, but there is nothing like the panache and versatility of the word "jackass."

Interesting. You'd think horses would be at least as formidable if not more.

I saw an ad on Craigslist once where a "Guard Donkey" was for sale. I thought it was a joke but then after a little research I found that it's a legit thing. I still remember the name of the Donkey in the ad was Radar.

Made me laugh. It just seems to me that when you run out of things to talk about, that's what comes next.

My dad used to say.... Oh well, he's been gone for 30 years.

Reminds me of people who whistle a tune while tasking. I have to think what is going on in that head?

"I think I'll go start a silly play on words topic on PPOT."

Can you whistle and type at the same time? Dunno, never whistle.

You forgot 'jackplane' 'jackknife' 'jackhammer' and about 50 more according to Scrabble.
