You never let the opponent have any hope. Keep them in despair and mentally "kick them when they are down". As much as I would be shocked if the Oilers can win 3 more, an 8-1 beatdown is a major mental uplift. They also get one more day of rest to refill the adrenaline. Grab the popcorn and cola and lets see what happens Wednesday.

I was surprised this morning to see the final score , this is a new series now . Good for Edmonton to fight and claw for what they want . Will be fun to watch how this goes .

Actually, I did check online and found the score was 4-3 so I watched the rest of the game. I enjoyed the game because both teams were playing with excellence at that point.
