32 - 18 for SOG - a sometimes misleading stat unless a filter of sorts is applied to grade the quality of the shot; if it indeed qualifies as a legitimate scoring threat. At the end of the day (or game if you wish) the total number was lop-sided to be sure

Goalie Bob did a job - the oinklers are in tough & could use a little 'puck-luck', after all, I think they out-played the Cats - except for 'Bob'. Pretty entertaining game.

I've had a couple of those moments in my time...sadly I can't prove it. I can tell you that the pic shows the Bobs quality. The five hole was covered, the leg on the ice and the glove covering just above in case of a lift. Perfect!

I just hope they don't pull a trash stunt by going bowling for goalies.

Fortunately Sean Avery is long gone. I must believe, in fact I do believe that any kind shot at Bob would be immediately and severely punished before any real damage is done. Further, IDT that kind of play is part of the Canadien game.

Skinner has to refrain from letting shot #1 into the net. ... getting to be his trademark.

A post & a X-bar, both part of Goalie Bob's 'equipment', kinda told the story last night. The Cats played a much better game so Bob's play wasn't (& as it turned out) as big of a factor as on Saturday. I still think he'd like the one goal they did score back - first five-hole for him in the play-offs. They've also rendered the 'earlers' vaunted power play null & void - so far.

I didn't care much for Draisaitl's hit on Barkov - it was on the wrong side of 'iffy' & I was sure it would merit some sort of disciplinary action by the league if for no other reason, the hit was high (& an elbow to boot) & took Barkov out of the game. We don't get to see him play that much out west - I am starting to appreciate just how good he is.

The oinklers had best get it together with home-field advantage on Thursday or it'll be a short series.

The hit on Barkov was a very cheap shot.

Similar to the dirty one Bennet had during the Bruins series, so karma FL.

Hard for me to cheer for either team.
