Pet peeve is a thing that irritates you. Vent is a verb when you complain about something that irritates you (peeve or anything else)

Exactly what my brain pictured when I read the thread title before I clicked. There were enough posts that I was 99.5% sure that someone was going to have beaten be to it.

It sucks when you think of something funny, smart, interesting, but someone has beaten you to it. (there how's that for a vent)

^Yet this had nothing to do with undersea vents.

It was more a representation of venting in bed last night after a night of mexican.
