Wow....I expected more from Sark.
Kept wondering why they didn't send Arch Manning in for a drive just to see what happened. Oh well......pretty good game anyway....... 28-14 Bucks w/2:14 left to play.......

Great game. OSU tried their Michigan strategy there in the 3rd quarter. I don't know why it didn't work.
To start with 1st and goal at the 1 and have it turn into 6 points for the other team has to be a gut punch.

Final score: 28-14 Ohio State!
Congrats to Buckeye Nation on the win and hats off to Texas for a great season. You were in this game until that terrible play calling possession in the red zone, behind only by 7. Next up will be Ohio State and Notre Dame playing for the National Championship 10 days from now!

I watched it until the late 3rd quarter. Fell asleep and when I woke up, it was over.

Me too! I’ve always felt that Ewers is good but not great, why not at least put in Manning for some trick plays or as an additional weapon? Or swap between QBs to give the defense a new look? I felt like the play calling was vanilla for the entire game and UT never really pushed the ball down the field. Generally speaking it sort of felt like OSU was in control for the entire game.

What a weird game. I never got the feeling that Ohio State was in any real trouble. The first half it seemed like they were trying not to score with all the penalties.

I O _____________________________________________ On the National Championship game, I think it's gonna take a HUGE game by Noder to beat the Buckeyes. One of the things that really caught my eye last night was the utilization of ALL the weapons the Buckeyes have on offense. Howard did a really good job of spreading the ball around. I liked that Tate was so involved in the game. Anyone believe Jeremiah Smith will be essentially shut out against Noder? I don't.

It is kinda weird to see no SEC team playing on Jan. 20th...

I hope on 1/20 that every state but Ohio is upset with him. I'd be okay with that.

Of the people I know who went to Ohio state, two of them left the country, one is dead, and the other one couldn't care less about Buckeye sports.
I don't know why I care, but if rooting for OSU pisses off SEC fans, that's good enough reason.

There's a lot of media speculation about what Quin Ewers is going to do. I wonder if he'll choose the Carson Beck route and decide to transfer. There's speculation he can make more playing another year in college than he'll make if he goes to the NFL.

Cab I read an article yesterday regarding Carson Beck vs Stetson Bennett . Carson made 4 million this year for Georgia . He will make 4 million in Miami . Stetson this year will make 1.05 million in the NFL with the rams .
If those numbers are remotely accurate there is something severely wrong in my opinion . There is no way a college player should make more money than a pro . At least that's my opinion . |

That is just crazy and demonstrative of how out of kilter things are right now. Ewers may as well transfer and get the money. I don't think he will last long at the next level. There is also news reports that a Boise player was approached and offered $700k to transfer to Oregon. These are strange days and I fear that the bubble will burst in a bad way eventually.

And yet, many still watch.
