Many years ago, I was at a local museum with the Body Works exhibit. It was packed. There was basically a route that you took through the exhibit. There were lots of glass cases that contained items, and then the larger statues. We were wandering through trying to be respectful of space. A lady (probably in her 40s) at one of the glass cases, looked in the case, and then turned around and was just hanging out (not looking at anything and not moving out of the way of the case). So I moved in REALLY close and leaned into her while looking over her shoulder at the display. If you invade someone's space to that level, they move PDQ.

Public shaming around here is fun and legal. As long as it's factually correct.
Examples. Calling a woman fat is probably OK - as long as she is fat. Calling the woman a slut is probably a bit borderline unless you can get 300 guys to conform that is true. |

It was geriatric time at the supermarket. Waiting in line and putting my things on the belt.
A 70-75yo old man somehow reaches by me with an impressive stretch, and starts putting his items in front of me. I looked over but said nothing. Ain't gonna train that dog. The clerk addressed him by name. It is what it is.

Not much problem with line jumpers here, but I find myself picking up trash almost everywhere I go. This morning, walking into the hospital, I picked up a coffee cup which had been dropped ten yards from the garbage bin.
Some people's kids! Best Les

Im a mind yer buisness kinda guy, nothing worse than the attitude of say hanging out in the passing lane and appointing yourself highway patrol to moderate people trying to speed. People who do that think they are in the right.
Touching a cave formation is egregious enough to intervene though I think. There is a middle ground though, you can be polite, respectful, and informative while doing so. Its super easy to take the higher road.

Simply put if you are into public shaming do not expect others to say or do what you expect them to. Here is a quote from the internet(Friendly reminder on Facebook). The person who is looking at you in the mirror should be addressed first before criticizing others.....
