Froot Loops

Well it looks like the two Astronauts in space for 8 days have to stay for eight months, if I was them I'd be a bit worried. Hope they get back soon, and hope they got lots of Froot Loops.

The NASA suits are not compatible with the Dragon UBER planned for February, so yet another new problem...

There is a mission in between, but not enough time to change it to a rescue. They need to build suits for the astronauts that are compatible. It would seem the other option is to come up with adapters for the Boeing suits to be compatible with the dragon connections.

The life support connections are only part of the problem. Musk had a fashion designer design the Space X space suits for looks. Later Space X engineers made it flight rated.

Boeing used a traditional NASA design which makes them bigger and bulkier than the Space X ones. As a result an astronaut in the Boeing designed space suit cannot fit in the Space X dragon capsule seat. That’s why they need the smaller Space X suit.

Another issue with the extended stay is the increased cumulative radiation Wilmore and Williams are being exposed to.

Couldn't they just install wider back seats in the Dragon UBER?

Possible. . . but it is easier to just send up new Space X space suits for the Dragon

Perhaps they could send Howard Wolowitz up to help. He could get them home. Maybe
or maybe not.
