 12 years old with a big toe broken in 6 places. I received a "Tortured Toe" award. I still have it. That toe have never be able to bend like it use to.

Circa 1971 at Hollister Hills ORV Park on my Honda 50 that my pops fixed and painted in a Kenny Roberts tribute paint scheme. Pulling chicks of course even back then. He rid the thing of the lame fold away bars, fab'd a mount and installed triple clamps for regular, proper cross bars
   1974 @ age 7 racing motocross at the PAL track in Santa Clara about where the 49ers Levi Stadium now sits. Getting smoked by the 2-stroke YZ 80's on my 73XR 4-stroke. I'm 3T.   1981 @ age 14 reaching the required age for my AMA sanctioned District 36 Enduro license on my PE 175. Earned the required 3 trophies in 4 races to be promoted to the B class from C. Never made the 6 required B trophies to be promoted to the A class. Found I liked beer and chicks more than hanging out with my folks all weekend racing at about 16...    Collecting my "Golden Shovel" 1st place 200cc C class trophy from the back of an Econoline van at the 49er enduro that was ironically enough up 108 a few miles from where I live now.  Current "Glory Days" tribute in my garage from the Dist 36 dominance... These were a few of the more unique trophies that I've hung onto. Unfortunately, the "Golden Shovel" eventually made it's way to the garden tool shed. Wish now Id hung onto and preserved it.

Had this bike (Yamaha YSD3) for over two years. This pic is when I was finally legal when I drove it.(16yo and completed drivers training)
I owned two Hondas before this Yamaha.
