If you came out of a comma after 20 years...

other than try to phone your grandmother what would you notice or want to do.

"Why are all these grown men driving around fast in little old ladies shopping baskets"?

if I came out of a comma, I would probably continue my sentence.

if I came out of a COMA, on the other hand...

Not at all. It's good to have some editing on this board.

CJ.....That is so funny. My dyslexic self just reads right past that stuff...

But to answer the question....I'd never be in a coma that long...all my will stuff says "pull the plugs" & set me free.

Boy...I've never been compared to Nixon.

First thing that comes to mind when I see that name is all those Nixon Halloween masks.

Reminds me of my years in NYC. Once had a very wealthy older guy in the Intensive Care Unit. His hand-wringing kids approached me and said with all the sadness they could conjure up, "We think it's time to consider unplugging dad. He would have wanted it that way." I told them I expected him to make a full recovery and probably be discharged from the hospital within a week. One of the daughters appeared visibly disturbed by my news.

I love the stories of billionaires leaving their billions to their cat. Or the park squirrels. That to me is what life's all about.
