Nice pics! I thought I'd share too...

Here is my partner when we graduated from patrol/narcotics school (he didn't like the camera man) Meet K9 Gringo!

I came across this picture of when we had 4 shar pei (several years ago) so I thought I'd add it. (The puppy with the huge basketball head is my Owen who passed away last spring).

Also I want to add this picture of my friend's Komondor "Ozzy" who had to be put down last month. :( He was 12 or 14 years old and was found wondering a state park in NE when he was a puppy. My friends family got to adopt him and he had been with them ever since.

Great collection. Ash that pic is just awesome! Was it taken in Australia? It looks like the Y camp in Estes Park. Someday I'm sur I will figure out hoe to put pictures in here, in the meantime our dogs and cats (etc.) can be viewed at www.serendipityfarm.com.

Sarah 10-15-2003 08:17 AM

Thanks Lisa. Yes...Owen was my "best boy." Of all the dogs i've had, he & I had the greatest bond...still makes me sad that he is not here anymore. Hey you should post some pictures of your other dogs.

Ash...where is that? It looks like you guys are at the top of a ranger station tower.

Shawn...oh my gosh...we were walking Spanky & Bailey in the park a few days ago and this lady who has an old english bulldog (Bosely) was there. He is not even 2 and he was HUGE...over 90 pounds. They were all playing...it was pretty funny.

tangerine911e 10-15-2003 02:51 PM

Yes, it is in Australia. We were on holidays in Bega (around 6 hours south of Sydney). It is a tiny cottage on a hill looking out over the valley. Nothing for miles. Very relaxing and better still they allow dogs (unusual for Australia). Full moon, just before light is amazing - fog and clouds in the valley, stars overhead. Just a great change for city people like us.

Another pic of Ard (I don't get many chances to post them!).

This at around 1 year old.

esther 11-04-2003 08:37 AM

OMG Sarah, that is too funny!! love it!!!!! :D My parents have a pekinese/dachshund mix named Mickey and mom has a Mickey Mouse kid shirt for her !

Sarah 11-04-2003 09:11 AM

Esther...thanks...I bet your mom's dog looks great in her t-shirt too. Maybe you could get a pic and scan it in for fun. For Christmas they'll wear a collar & possibly the Santa hats...but they usually won't keep the hat on for long before they knock it off. :)

Nothing beats a pug getting caught rooting through your laundry...
