Daytrip to Camano island, closest one to us, also visited a 1930 era fishing "Resort" and long time boat building workshop turned state Park named Cama Beach.
Only saw 4 other people... love this time of year other than the chilly short days

Glad you've found something that works, low back pain chases me out of bed most mornings, keep it to a dull level with stretches walking, Chiropractor now and then.
I'll have to check into acupuncture if it gets worse.

masraum, that's Big Four (even though it has 5 minor peaks) at certain snow loads there is a giant number 4 created on the mountainside.
6160' tall and the site of the lowest ice cave in the lower 48 states. Road gets closed in winter, but it's a fun x-country ski or snowshoe in while it's closed.
Spring is entertaining with the right conditions avalanches bound down it creating lots of noise and visual treats- give it plenty of space for the run outs...
