I don't think Bush has commented on Kerry's war records. Kerry said he would not comment on Bush's....but he lied.

So you're saying speeder that if someone wasn't "there" then they have no right to make a decision about the guy? There was one other war hero like kerry, Benedict Arnold. Decorated war hero, supporter of the US, but couldn't really decide if he really liked America.

Being touchy about YOUR guy being called a Benedict Arnold? Me thinks thou doth protest too much. Besides, if it really came back down to who went and who didn't as being a qualifier for Pres., what about Clinton? It didn't matter then, why now? The only reason I bring Slick Willy up is to highlight your total hypocrisy on the matter of military service being the main qualifier. Let's add to that with your assertion that National Guard service doesn't equate to military service. Are you also saying that the National Guard doesn't mean military service? That's straight out of McAullife and Carville's playbooks.

If all it took was 3 PHs to come home, just how many folks stayed there when they could have come home? I have a relative who could have at least twice if that was the case, but he didn't. He stayed with his fellow servicemen and even won a Silver Star, not bad for a military firefighter. Too bad he was too busy saving lives instead of filming it. I guess reenacting his expliots for a camera were out of the question since he wasn't an officer nor was he rich and didn't have any ambition past saving lives and coming home, including his.
