I support that. And thanks, Z-Man, for doing what appears to be a difficult job well. Heck, now that I think about it, Z-Man is kinda in the position of the public servant. His function is regulatory, and the job is largely thankless and not easy. But necessary. Unless some of you think regulations are to be avoided. But then you would not be in a position to support RUFO's ban. Hmmmmm.

After reading his posts I began to think of him as "Red Hammer and Sickle"

I will NOT miss him (red-ufo), he was the only person I ever put on my "ignore list"! He was rude, crude, socially unacceptable and an idiot!

many of you have e-mail at work. Has there ever been an e-mail that you sent or got that was taken the wrong way? I know I have. Sometimes we have to remember that the way we speak and the inflections (sp) can be mis-interpreted if we try to write that way.

If red, Mule, or Superman, Shaun G9 (any BHL), met Mark Wilson, Redbeard, or me (or an conservative) in the bar and we got into it, it wouldn't get that rough - not becuase of fear of fists but becuase communication would be better interpreted.

I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't wanna tango with Superman! Not without a handful of Kryptonite, at least....

Superman - had a bigger weakness than Kryptonite and that was his internal struggle of living up to great expectations and ultimately not being able to be a "God" - even though he could turn back time and had power of all mortal men. Becuase, in the end, man has to believe in God yet time after time, Superman lost mans ability to believe in him. He never rained ultimate like God. That was his ultimate demise.

I haven't been on the OT board enough lately to know that mul was banned, but now that I know that I am glad to hear it.

I too think the z-man does a good job moderating this board.

I read some of red's posts. I must admit the cut-and-paste overwhelm tactic was somewhat annoying, but tolerable. But dropping the f-bomb? Is it really necessary?

Perhaps the most discouraging thing about these boards is that something that could be turned into a worthwhile discussion turns into personal attacks, name-calling, and all-around derision. Case in point: calling each other "neo" or "liberal". Why is that necessary? Do we need the security blanket of placing labels on our opponents?

Instead of labeling each other, how about simply addressing the points brought up in the post, instead of automatically launching into an "us vs. them" attack? Think how refreshing that might be, to actually discuss facts instead of making accusations!

IMHO, your political leanings are irrelevant - only your opinions matter (at least to me). There are intelligent folks throughout the political spectrum.

Just my $0.02.

And I'll keep my particular political persuasion to myself.

What I've learned from all this is that,

Conservatives can read, and liberals are the scum of the earth.

LOL! Frankly, this thread had to be brought to my attention. I quit reading anything connected to Red UFO quite some time ago. For much the same reason I don't read Molly Ivans in the local yellow pages...

Unfortunately and fortunately I live quite a ways out of town and we do not get cable (which allows me to fly airplanes, ride dirt bikes, and shoot guns in my own backyard without having anybody whine). I do not get Fox national news and I have to flip thru the big three networks which means suffering thru liberal biased newscasts. I wish I had Fox so I did not have to listen to the likes of Rather flinging his fabricated poo!

I hear from others that Fox actually tries to be fair. Imagine that.

As far as Rush, well I think about as much of Michael Moore as you probably think of Rush. I do not think either side would consider these two to be neutral.

Liberals should be happy that they can at least count on the big three!
