Michael, if any of you red state fellows met me in a bar (or for uhhh, steak dinner, ahem ), we'd all have a crazy good time. Simple as that.

I don't know much about UFO because I avoid the political threads like the plague... so what I am doing on this post? Okay I so got bored and it's always fun to drop in on one of Pelican's soap opera threads.

I get so tired of all the stereotyping going on here, I'm a born again Christian liberal democrat AND my BEST friend who I have known from the forth grade is a very conservative ex-republican atheist and we get along just fine. I think most of us here if we were all to meet in a bar or coffee house would get along just fine because most civilized intelligent people when in a social situation don't immediately launch into a volatile political or religious debate. However on the internet people seem much more likely to assert their strongest beliefs with much more enthusiasm (to put it delicately).

I would also like to take a moment to thank all of the OT form for keeping Z-man so busy, he also moderates the 924/944/968 form and you wouldn't believe the stuff we get away with over there because he has to spend so much time policing here!

J/K about the Z-man comment.

This started the little grey machine operating.

there is a stereotyped pelicanhead around here that has an image that's also pushed by the stereotyped guy himself !
I find myself more and more in disagreement than "tired". Fwiw, He is interesting. All the numbers just don't add up imo.. go figure.

I saw that UFO! For real! Swear to God! I was driving in Iowa, about 10PM the day before Thanksgiving, long patch of real dark road, about 110 miles from Omaha and 80 miles from Des Moines. I saw two lights - looking much like that in the photo - running the same line I was driving. They would come close then separate. They then took altitude and separted at a very high speed and were gone.

I made it to the in-laws and told my wife. She said that there seemed to be a lot of aircraft flying overhead over the past 3 hours. The in laws have the farm in the middle of nowhere - right between Omaha and Souix City. Normally we see mil-craft flying over from the AFB in Omaha. I suspect that what I saw was something that a C5 or something else deployed. Any ideas? (and no I wasn't drinking, smoking, snorting, wak'n or any thing else that would have made me see something strange!)

Randy, kryptonite won't do you any good. Partly because I know you don't have any and partly because my mission is to protect humans from evil. You're not nearly evil enough.

Mike, I've come to grips with not being God. It was disappointing to say the least but there's an up-side. See, this way I don't have to talk to Dubya.

And BTW, I nailed Ms. Kreuk big time but it's all hush-hush.

Ron, you're goofy.
