I too share the toilet flush problem.

Here in our apartment complex (CA) we have a routine of flushing the toilet once prior to using to make sure there is no blockage, then doing the 'dump' and praying for a smooth 'process', and a follow-up flush to make sure it goes as far down the pipe as possible. So much for saving water!

This blockage problem occurs in all three bathrooms and with all members of the family and visitors. Pretty embarrassing to go to someones house and take a dump then have to ask for a plunger!!!!

In Hong Kong we had trouble with the toilets in our house and when we called a plumber who serviced the house, we asked him why this was occurring. He nonchalantly explained that all the Westerners had this problem because they had such big and hard dumps. I had to LOL for minutes after.

Too funny a thread
