Finally a subject that I can speak about.

Get a power assited toilet like someone else said. I had the same hate as you. I got the PA toilet and the first time I flushed it, it scared me. The room shakes and air rushes by your head while standing. In the 5+ years it has never plugged.

Side note Do not sit and flush. You will be nutless.

I love my toilet now.

Here's a guy who's been rating low flow units for quite a while. They even have a Forum. LOL

Can someone photo shop a whaletail onto this Kholer unit? I want to see what it looks like before I do it...

Where I previously worked, I was involved with the design near the 'tail' end of the pressure mechanism development. A lot was also put into the evaluation/improvement of the NVH (Noise/Vibration/Harshness) of the system too. Tried and tested under a variety of 'loading' conditions -

It's a sh***y job, but somebody's gotta do it!

OMG, I almost spit my coffee.....large circus animals, LOL...

Anyway, I had no idea that one could legaly bring higher capacity units into the US...very interesting.
Doesn't make sense that you have to flush 3 times to clear the thing as opposed to once. Where are you saving water.

Here's one of my favorites: (and get this it's part of the Porcher product line from AS)

Is it pronounced Por-sha or Por-cher?

Our low flow toilets had a plastic bowl around the inlet where the water leaves the tank and enters the bowl to restrict the water flow. Snap, crackle, pop... no more low flow.

WOW!! I had no idea my question would hit such a tender nerve. Thanks for the info. I feel empowered to tackle this satanic beast and bring it to heel.

Oh yeah, and regarding "toilet forums", I agree it is a hilarious (and yet, I suppose, strangely inevitable) product of the internet. Hmmm...just imagine what Pelican would look like if it had such a forum...let's follow the magic trolley to the land of Make Believe...

Wow, this is. . . startlingly educational. . . And oddly, this is applicable to my line of work so I can justify coming to Pelican on work time now.

We did a road trip as mentioned above too but went to Mexico and got toilets several years ago in really nice pastel colors, sinks to match and coast was about 58% of in San Diego! If you are ever on vacation, down south west here you could take one home......

TOTO! a true masterpiece of a $hitter. I particularly like the slow close feature of the lid & seat - just drop it & it kind of slowly floats down. And, man, can it handle the loads!

Janus, that mock up is too funny.

Are Canadian bathroom fixtures discounted too? Mexico would be a bit far for me...lol.

A twin turbo power flush upgrade would be nice too.

Janus, I'm going to have to stop reading this forum at work. I couldn't help but laugh at your photoshop!

I'm surprised no one has posted the carbon fiber toilet seat. No crapper thread is complete without it. It’s $200

get it here http://www.riderperformancemotorcycles.com/products/otherproducts/toiletseats/

Like others have said, get a Toto toilet. We bought two last year, and when we redo the third bathroom we'll buy another. They work great.
