My mother and father died in 2003 within 6 weeks of each other; Dad rather quickly from an aneurism, and Mom slowly from MS. Sncerely, I feel your pain.

Your Father is a monument to commitment and love. I can think of no better example of living the "for better or worse" portion of a wedding vow. I have the upmost respect for him. God bless your family.

I lost my mother 5 years ago this month. Left quite a hole in my life that remains to be filled.

Mike, I lost my mother in 1995 (she was 47) to cancer and it was so tough words are insufficient. Please know that she will always be with you. God bless you and your family during this very difficult time.

Mike - so sorry to hear of your loss.
My daughters were lucky enough to enjoy the special relationship of a great-grandmother for a few years (despite her cognitive decline) before she passed...and remember her fondly. I hope that happy memories will ease the pain and keep your Mom's spirit alive with you all. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear about your mothers passing, my mom past away about 18 months ago and it is still hard to handle sometimes.

Sorry to hear. Lost my mom to Parkinson's (actually leukemia, but she had been pretty much bedridden for the last year or so) about 2 years ago. Be there for your dad now...I called mine every day for about 6 months or so. It gets better with time.
